ISCC Certification

Used cooking oils are used for the production of biodiesel. To ensure traceability of the waste involved, certification of all operators is required. For this purpose, the ISCC - system (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) was set up. Within this system, waste is monitored from its origin (e.g. restaurants, households) to the end user (e.g. oil companies). Therefore, it is essential that users of frying oils and fats sign a self-declaration before their used oils and fats can enter the ISCC-certified supply chain.

The self-declarations for deliveries of used cooking oil on this page form a valid part of the contractual agreement between (company) and its customers. These self-declarations are provided either within the contract or as part of the general terms and conditions.

  • If included in the written contract, the self-declarations shall be considered accepted from the effective date of the contract.

  • If included in the terms and conditions, the self-declarations shall be deemed accepted unless the customer objects in writing within 14 days of receiving them. Failure to object within this timeframe shall be interpreted as agreement to the terms and conditions.

By requesting collections of used cooking oil (UCO) from Quatra, the supplier confirms their acceptance of the terms and conditions, including the Category 3 (CAT3) agreement and the self-declaration.
