Forklift Truck Driver
The role
You keep goods and materials moving safely and efficiently across our site. From loading and unloading to stock control and dispatch preparation, you're the backbone of our warehouse operation.
You don’t need 10 years of experience.
What matters is that you’re willing to learn and can work independently when needed.
What you'll do
- Operate forklift trucks (counterbalance/reach) safely and in line with company procedures
- Load, unload, move, stack and store goods and materials ensuring loads are secure and undamaged
- Pick, prepare and move stock for dispatch, production or internal use
- Check goods against paperwork or system records
- Maintain accurate stock movements using warehouse systems, scanners or paperwork
- Carry out daily pre-use checks on FLT equipment and report any defects or unsafe conditions immediately
- Support the production team with wider warehouse activities when needed
- Keep warehouse and loading areas clean, tidy and safe at all times
What we're looking for
- Valid FLT certification (counterbalance, reach or equivalent)
- Previous FLT experience in a warehouse, logistics or similar environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety
- Comfortable working in a busy environment with vehicles and pedestrians
- Accurate, detail-oriented and able to check stock and documentation reliably
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
- Basic literacy and numeracy
