How do we recycle London's used cooking oil?
All used cooking oil collected in London is processed in our future-proof, energy-efficient recycling plant. The oil is filtered and transformed into raw materials (UCO feedstock), which are the key ingredients for the production of biodiesel (HVO) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Additionally frying residues are also repurposed into biogas, a renewable fuel source.
These biofuels can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 87% compared to fossil fuels.
